while the babies sleep.

dax just fell asleep. one sweet little fella right there, i tell ya. he's been so sweet and cuddly lately, which i suppose has a lot to do with the fact that he's cutting teeth. poor guy. i'm sure loving all the baby attention though. not gonna lie, i'm one proud mama. but i do enjoy my own down time and the face time that i get to spend with the hubs when the kiddos are asleep .. especially considering it's winter break. :) get your minds out of the gutter!

i'm getting back into the groove of losing what i like to call the "dax weight". you know, everything that i gained from the uncontroable consumption of chicken burritos and powered donuts while incubating my sweet little man. the skinnyn jeans are starting to fit more comfortablly.

as for christmas ... i'm glad that it's FINALLY over. i love christmas, but it's too much unneeded stress. my grey hairs have increased at an exponential rate over the past month and it's time to buy a box of dye.

oh dang ... dax is screaming. time to bottle, swaddle and sing.

i've succumed to the temptations ...

of starting a blog, that is. nothing too serious here people.

i can't promise that i'll always update, or update often. or that i'll post cute pictures or be continuously interesting. up until now, i've thought my life rather too mundane for the blogging realm. bUT i'll try my hardest to please.

some background info:

i'm 25, go by my middle name, have 2 gorgeous younger sisters and have been married to mitchell, the love of my lives {yes, you read that right ... lives ... this one and the one to come!} for 4 years. he is a doll and i absolutely adore him! i couldn't have asked for a better catch! we have 2 incredible little boys named kendall [2] and dax [5 months]. we currently reside in salem, where i am a stay at home mommy to the joys of my life while mitchell finishes up school full time.
